Japanese Co Launches AR Tribute Platform

In a creative twist on digital memory preservation, Jeetbuzz Login users may be intrigued by a new app developed in Katori City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Inspired by the global hit Pokémon GO, a local company has launched “Spot Message,” an augmented reality (AR) and GPS-based service that allows users to hear messages and see images of loved ones at meaningful locations, such as graveyards, memorial parks, or scenic spots tied to personal memories.

With AR and GPS working hand in hand, this app offers an experience often described as “a voice and presence that still lingers.” According to Japanese media, the app was created by a headstone and cemetery services company named “Conscience Stoneworks.” The Android version officially launched on August 15, with the iOS version scheduled for release later this month. The app targets individuals who wish to leave behind video messages, audio clips, and photos for their loved ones to access after they’ve passed away.

By using Spot Message, users can record personal messages in advance and assign them to specific GPS locations—such as gravesites, columbariums, or even a family home. When friends or family visit these locations, they can view the departed person’s video and photo memories on their device, offering an emotional and immersive way to remember those who are no longer physically present.

The service also supports unconventional burial practices. With sea burials and tree burials becoming more popular, some people may not have a traditional gravesite. In those cases, Spot Message utilizes GPS to anchor memories to any chosen global location. For instance, if someone’s ashes are scattered off the coast of Hawaii, their family can return to that beach in the future and access voice or video tributes directly on their phones. It’s a touching way to say goodbye—again.

Membership is simple. Users can register for free, but for just 500 yen (approximately 33 RMB), premium members can store up to 30 personal messages. Additional features, such as video and photo uploads, can be purchased separately at 1,000 yen per item. Loved ones who wish to receive these messages must also download the app and sign up as members.

This blend of modern tech and timeless emotion offers a powerful way to preserve legacies. As digital memorials gain global attention, Jeetbuzz Login users may find Spot Message a thoughtful tool to bridge memory and technology. Whether to honor a loved one or prepare a message of your own, it’s one more meaningful reason to stay connected through Jeetbuzz Login.
