Yangyang Xuanling Best Build and Rotation

For players entering through Jeetbuzz Login, SP Yangyang has immediately climbed to the top of the current power rankings, truly creating the feeling that a long-awaited ruler has returned. During her idle animation, Yangyang can even summon a whole flock of adorable birds around her, which is enough to make Siglika rush to Huanglong overnight and become her new best friend. Without further ado, here is a complete guide to Yangyang Xuanling and her combat rotation.

The birdwatching squad has officially arrived, and Yangyang’s gameplay flow is surprisingly similar to Siglika’s. Her main objective is to accumulate feathers on the Forte Circuit gauge. When she enters the field through an Intro Skill, she immediately gains one feather, while the shifting blue-and-pink energy bar begins at full capacity. Normal attacks consume this energy. Once the bar is emptied, Yangyang unlocks an enhanced skill.

Using the enhanced skill grants another feather and completely refills the energy bar. When two feathers are available, simply hold the basic attack button without releasing it. Yangyang will automatically perform her enhanced heavy attack and complete the remaining sequence. During the second half of the rotation, activate her Resonance Liberation to gain one feather. The Liberation consumes the entire energy bar and immediately unlocks the enhanced skill. Use that skill to obtain the second feather, then hold the basic attack button again to finish the full combo before switching characters.

The simplified rotation is as follows: enter through the Intro Skill and activate the Echo to gain the first feather, use normal attacks until the energy bar is empty, cast the enhanced skill for the second feather, then hold basic attack to complete the first sequence. After that, activate Resonance Liberation for one feather, use the enhanced skill for the second, and hold basic attack again to finish the second sequence.

Yangyang uses two different sword forms in combat: a flexible sword and a rigid sword. The active form can be identified through the Forte Circuit indicator. When the symbol above the health bar has a rounded shape in the center, she is using the rigid sword. Otherwise, she is in flexible sword mode.

The two forms have several minor differences, but they do not change the main combat rotation. Tapping the skill button during a normal attack sequence instantly switches her sword form. However, since the enhanced skill must be used during every standard rotation, Yangyang will naturally switch forms as part of her regular gameplay.

In rigid sword mode, the enhanced heavy attack creates a powerful whirlwind that deals high single-hit damage and gains a 160% Crit DMG bonus. In flexible sword mode, the enhanced heavy attack launches Yangyang into the air for a rapid multi-hit assault, also benefiting from a 160% Crit DMG bonus. The first and third strikes have wide crowd-gathering effects. In simple terms, one form is better against individual targets, while the other is designed for groups.

Both 160% Crit DMG bonuses have an internal cooldown of 25 seconds. Shortly after Yangyang begins an enhanced heavy attack, she also receives an automatic evasion effect, allowing her to avoid incoming damage during part of the animation.

Yangyang’s interaction with the Void Annihilation effect is tied to her first inherent skill. Put simply, the more stacks applied to an enemy, the stronger Yangyang’s defense reduction and damage bonuses become. Under normal conditions, the effect can only reach three stacks, granting Yangyang a 30% increase to Havoc damage dealt.

However, Chisa adds another three stacks to the maximum, raising the limit to six and increasing Yangyang’s Havoc damage amplification to 66%. This makes investing in Chisa look even more worthwhile. Applying six stacks of Void Annihilation also grants up to 150% additional Crit DMG to the two enhanced heavy attacks that deal the most damage in Yangyang’s rotation.

Combined with the built-in 160% Crit DMG multiplier on Yangyang’s enhanced heavy attacks, the numbers are frightening even before performing detailed calculations. On paper alone, the damage ceiling is through the roof.

Yangyang’s second inherent skill solves one of her biggest practical problems: switching targets. Activating Resonance Liberation immediately applies Void Annihilation stacks to the selected enemy up to that target’s current maximum limit. Whenever teammates apply Void Annihilation, Yangyang receives a separate buff.

Once this buff reaches six stacks, every enhanced heavy attack performed by Yangyang applies six stacks of Void Annihilation directly to the enemy. In other words, the team can generate the buff frequently, and each successful application immediately reaches the maximum stack count. This completely resolves the issue of rebuilding effects whenever Yangyang changes targets.

For weapons, her signature sword, Azure Heavens, is the clear first choice. It provides Attack and Crit stats while increasing heavy attack damage and allowing heavy attacks to ignore part of the enemy’s defense. These bonuses perfectly match Yangyang’s frequent use of enhanced heavy attacks. It is also an exceptionally elegant-looking sword.

The next-best option is Qiuyuan’s signature weapon, Bamboo Cutter. It also provides Attack and Crit stats and is designed for heavy-attack-focused damage dealers, making it another strong match for Yangyang’s combat style.

Players reviewing equipment choices through Jeetbuzz Login should use a 4-3-3-1-1 Echo setup with the new Sonata Effect, Song of Falling Feathers and Empty Dust. This set increases Crit Rate and grants a 35% heavy attack damage bonus, both of which directly support Yangyang’s core needs.

For the four-cost Echo, use Thousand-Puppet Tower and select either Crit Rate or Crit DMG as the main stat. It further increases Yangyang’s heavy attack damage and Havoc damage amplification. The two three-cost Echoes should carry Havoc Damage Bonus, while the one-cost Echoes should use Attack Percentage.

For substats, prioritize Crit Rate and Crit DMG first, followed by Attack Percentage, heavy attack damage, and Resonance Efficiency. Around 125% Resonance Efficiency is generally enough for a smooth rotation.

At Resonance Chain 1, Yangyang’s enhanced skill deals additional Havoc damage that is treated as heavy attack damage. Her heavy attacks gain improved stopping power against enemies, while both rigid and flexible sword heavy attacks become resistant to interruption. Overall, this chain improves control, prevents her from being knocked out of animations, and makes the rotation feel much smoother.

Resonance Chain 2 doubles the damage of her enhanced heavy attacks. After remaining out of combat for four seconds, Yangyang immediately receives two feathers and resets the 25-second internal cooldown of the enhanced heavy attack Crit DMG bonus. This significantly improves her opening sequence because she can begin a battle with an enhanced heavy attack immediately. Her normal attacks also gain an additional high-damage strike.

Resonance Chain 3 increases Resonance Liberation damage by 175%. More importantly, it greatly strengthens Yangyang’s ability to apply Void Annihilation. Her Intro Skill and enhanced skill increase the maximum number of Void Annihilation stacks that nearby enemies can receive by three, raising the limit directly to nine stacks.

Attacks that already apply Void Annihilation, including the fourth normal attack and enhanced heavy attacks, gain one additional stack per hit. This makes maintaining the effect considerably easier and improves Yangyang’s performance against multiple enemies.

Resonance Chain 4 is mainly a transitional upgrade. After Yangyang uses most of her skills, the entire team receives a 20% Attack increase. It does not fundamentally change her mechanics, but it offers a reliable team-wide damage boost.

Resonance Chain 5 focuses on survivability. When Yangyang receives fatal damage, she avoids defeat and restores her health to 50%. This provides a valuable safety net during difficult encounters.

At Resonance Chain 6, enemies affected by Yangyang’s Void Annihilation take 40% more heavy attack damage. After she uses an enhanced skill, whenever any team member applies an effect, Yangyang triggers one additional instance of Havoc damage. This bonus attack is treated as heavy attack damage, is guaranteed to score a critical hit, and can activate up to five times.

For players building a team after Jeetbuzz Login, the strongest and most obvious lineup is Yangyang, Chisa, and Rebecca. Yangyang handles the main heavy-attack damage, Chisa raises the maximum number of Void Annihilation stacks, and Rebecca increases the team’s heavy attack damage. The combination of a massive machine gun and a traditional Chinese-style bird warrior may sound unusual, but it works remarkably well.

Rebecca can also be replaced with Lynae when necessary. Chisa is close to essential, while the remaining slot can be filled by a defensive support or another character who increases heavy attack damage. A future character arriving in the next version may even become Yangyang’s dedicated teammate, potentially giving her another major boost.
